U3A Cygnet is a non-profit co-operative learning community for retired and
semi-retired people, run by volunteers. We aim to encourage the pursuit of learning and the opportunity to acquire new skills and experiences in an informal and friendly atmosphere - see more details on our classes page.
There are no entry qualifications, exams, assessments or awards.
If you prefer not to use our online facilities, you can download our printed programs and membership application and class booking forms on our downloads page.
We have a wide variety of classes and activities covering most areas of community interest: talks on all sorts of topics, garden visits, art, writing, book clubs, play readings, discussions groups - see more on our Classes page.
You can join us at any time throughout the year. We have modest fees, and there are, in general, no additional fees for each class or activity.

Information for members and presenters
We have more information here from time to time for our members. If you are presenting a talk, you need to know where we are and what equipment we have. We need to know something about you, and about your talk. Read on . . .
On our Contacts page you can email us, send us a letter, or get in touch with other U3A organisations throughout Australia. We also have links to Google Maps to show you where most of our activities occur.
We acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to elders past and present.
